After months abroad, you finally return home, in time for the harvest festival. A full moon creeps across the Autumn sky, with harvests in the fields. At first glance everything seems serene, but it’s not. The gates of hell have been thrust open, and the island is now swarming with evil.
Some are pitiful, others vengeful. These are the lost souls, the neglected spirits. After death they were forgotten, no tributes were given, so now they wander the earth to improve their lot. Good brothers and sisters, dejected souls, are looking for a host. Will you be the one?

Released by ITG-Soft of Taichung, Taiwan in 2020, Hungry Ghost Night is a top-down adventure game. Can you survive the night and solve the mysteries of the land?
Two versions of Hungry Ghost Night are available. The first version of the game puts the player in control of Sydney Wang as the main protagonist, whereas the second version follows along with Robert Gasse. Each version of the game has different stages, and the box art differs slightly as seen in the photos.
As a bonus, ITG Soft is providing a Protective Talisman to ward off Evil Energy with each copy of the game.

Dear Gamer,
Yikes! The ghosts have gotten some of the staff at ITG.Soft. Just like with Super Mario Bros., Castlevania, Mega Man 2, and many great games before it, the final build of Hungry Ghost Night (Robert Gasse version) contains a minor glitch that you should be aware of.
In level 1, you can trigger the glitch by running from the uppermost screen on the right into the warp area. The glitch is only accessed if you run into the warp area without stopping - you will then drop down and go through the floor, entering a glitchy room below! Never fear though, you can leave this glitchy room of horrors by walking down and off the screen, which will then take you to a different warp area. You can also explore the glitched room to see what other areas you may be able to access! This glitch is present in the final build of the game, and there are no plans to release any revisions.
